About the role
- Define and coordinate EE architecture for electrified powertrain components (e-motor, power electronics, battery) ensuring alignment with OEM applications and system requirements
- Lead cross-functional teams to design, validate, and troubleshoot EE systems; manage project reviews and technical meetings across domains like HMI, wiring, EMC, and diagnostics
- Ensure system integration and compatibility, overseeing convergence of electronic systems (powertrain, battery, ADAS, infotainment) and track CAN/LIN usage
- Manage ISR creation and validation, ensuring traceability and consistency of CAN parameters across systems
- Monitor milestone progress, analyze architecture changes and initiate corrective action plans
- Occasional travel to other Horse Powertrain sites
Requirements
- Proven track record in system engineering activities and software development within the automotive or EE domain
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering required
- Master’s degree in Electric/Electronic Engineering or Mechanics with EE specialization preferred
- Excellent skills in diagnostics and troubleshooting of CAN/LIN networks
- Programming of controllers and battery management systems (C++, Python)
- Strong competencies in embedded systems architecture and communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Automotive Ethernet)
- Collaborative approach and ability to lead cross-functional teams
- Knowledge of the automotive sector and Horse Powertrain business
- Excellent command of English, both spoken and written
