About the role
- Responsible for accounts payable and accounts receivable management for the German group companies.
- Reviewing and posting all business transactions in accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, bank accounting, and fixed assets accounting.
- Regular communication with tax advisors and auditors regarding monthly and annual financial statements.
- Independently driving process improvements in an innovative and dynamic environment.
- Point of contact for management, clients, and partners on accounting matters.
Requirements
- Qualified as a tax clerk (Steuerfachangestellter), further qualification as a certified balance sheet accountant (Bilanzbuchhalter), or an equivalent qualification as a career changer.
- Initial professional experience posting and coding accounting documents in a national and international context (preferably DATEV and NetSuite).
- Solid understanding of the interaction between the balance sheet and the profit & loss statement.
- Strong organizational skills, ability to set priorities and drive processes forward.
- Quick grasp of new topics and a structured way of working.
- Strong communication skills and enthusiasm for new challenges in an international environment.
- Fluent German and good command of English.
