About the role

  • Play a critical role on the digital design team to create exceptional design aesthetics and impactful visual experiences for clients
  • Apply UI expertise to shape attractive, intuitive, and responsive experiences that meet client goals
  • Execute design of responsive websites, apps and digital experiences
  • Deliver compelling conceptual design directions and explorations
  • Work within a Design Studio approach collaborating with UX designers, writers, engagement leads, project managers, strategists, developers, and leadership
  • Build trusted relationships with clients through understanding needs, collaborating effectively, providing thoughtful recommendations, and executing flawlessly
  • Pivot based on evolving requirements, timelines, and feedback
  • Participate in client meetings to learn about client and audience needs and contribute to creative and design process
  • Present work to clients and convert feedback into actionable design direction
  • Own projects from start to finish and provide constructive direction to internal teams

Requirements

  • Great portfolio of UI design examples that showcase ability to bring brands to life through meticulously designed digital platforms and experiences
  • 3+ years’ experience as a UI professional skilled in responsive interface design
  • Experience leading UI design across multiple platforms
  • Proven experience owning projects from start to finish
  • Ability to lead working sessions with team members and present to clients
  • Experience designing complex, multi-variant web-based applications
  • Proficiency with Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator) and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of best practices for UI and interaction design for responsive experiences
  • Experience working with established design systems and building new design systems from scratch
  • Understanding of accessibility design issues
  • Good understanding of UX best practices
  • Comfortable in a client-facing role with solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Proactive problem-solver, flexible with ability to handle multiple demands and shifting priorities
  • Extra credit: experience with content management systems (Sitecore, Acquia); Agile process experience; mobile app design experience; motion design experience; experience in brand campaign creative
