Key responsibilities & impact

Support educators by addressing inquiries about their life and retirement insurance policies
Provide exceptional customer service through phone calls, emails, and live chats
Develop strong knowledge of Horace Mann Life and Retirement insurance products, services and policies
Handle and problem solve customers' inquiries via phone, email, and chats
Ensure a great customer experience in both written and verbal communications
Responsible for proactive up-sell and cross-sell of insurance solutions to existing customer base

Requirements

What you’ll need

H.S. Diploma or GED required (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
2+ years of customer service/business/sales experience preferred
Insurance or Finance industry experience helpful
Basic math skills and billing interpretation skills
Effective communication, both written and verbally
Demonstrate active listening, system navigation, research, problem-solving, critical thinking, organization and time management skills
