About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Drive recruitment for Horace Mann's network of exclusive insurance and financial services agents.
Identify, attract, and guide qualified candidates through the recruitment lifecycle.
Partner with regional and district leaders for candidate recruitment.
Develop and execute sourcing strategies using various recruiting platforms.
Maintain high recruiting activity, generating a minimum of 25 candidate conversations weekly.
Conduct candidate outreach, screening, and qualification.
Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from sourcing to offer acceptance.
Meet annual hiring goals, appointing a minimum of 40 agents per year.
Partner closely with field leaders during the hiring process for positive candidate experiences.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred.
3–5+ years of full-cycle 1099 recruiting experience, preferably within insurance, financial services, sales, or related industries.
Demonstrated success sourcing passive and active candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing platforms.
Experience utilizing Greenhouse or similar Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
Proven ability to manage multiple requisitions while meeting recruiting metrics and hiring goals.
Strong communication, organizational, and candidate relationship management skills.
Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
