About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- About the role
- Hopper is looking for a Strategy & Analytics Manager to lead analytics and operational infrastructure for travel procurement and AI initiatives. This role will partner closely with commercial teams, product, and engineering to build data models, dashboards, operational tools, and processes that drive business decisions and scale operations. You will leverage data and AI to generate insights, automate workflows, and improve commercial outcomes across Hopper’s travel procurement function.

Requirements
What you’ll need- 2+ years of experience in data analysis, sales operations, strategy and operations, or a similar analytical or commercial role
- Proficiency in SQL and hands-on experience with data and BI tools such as Looker, Tableau, BigQuery, or equivalents
- A track record of concrete delivery — data models, dashboards, process frameworks, and operational tools — not just recommendations
- Strong business instincts combined with analytical rigor; comfortable both in strategic conversations and in hands-on execution
- Genuine enthusiasm for AI and an established habit of using it to accelerate and improve your own work, with a desire to integrate this approach across a commercial organization
- Experience working cross-functionally with Product and/or Engineering teams, with sufficient technical fluency to be effective in those interactions
- First-principles thinking — challenge assumptions, test processes, and always seek to understand why things work the way they do
- Bias for action, strong ownership, and the ability to thrive in fast-moving, ambiguous environments
