Design and implement AI-powered solutions to streamline legal and compliance operations for HTS globally.
Assist with regulatory affairs, including managing Hopper Money licensing and examination requirements across all U.S. states.
Support contract administration, including drafting, reviewing, and coordinating negotiations for HTS partner agreements and amendments.
Maintain compliance with internal controls requirements and certifications such as SOC-2, including managing legally required training and validating operational requirements.
Explore and integrate AI tools to automate compliance and reporting processes where possible.
Collaborate closely with Hopper’s Deputy General Counsel, senior leadership, business unit leaders, and outside counsel to address complex legal and regulatory challenges.
Translate legal and compliance requirements into practical, tech-enabled solutions that support HTS’s business-to-business services and products.
Communicate effectively with internal teams to provide clear guidance on legal and compliance matters.
Requirements
Minimum of one year of experience in one of the following: In-house legal team; Legal technology team (as a Product Manager); Corporate law practice.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Experience reviewing and navigating complex contracts and regulatory requirements.
Strong aptitude for leveraging technology, particularly AI, to solve legal and operational challenges.
Demonstrated excellence working with rapidly changing business requirements and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Self-starter, quick learner, strategic and collaborative thinker, creative builder.
Highest ethical and moral standards as a trusted advisor to senior leadership.
