About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provides job offers verbally and in writing to approved candidates
- Supports candidates with pre-employment action steps and onboarding
- Connects with IT, HR, and Training teams for new employee supports
- Ensures compliance and accurately develops employee profiles in HRMS systems
- Manages screening, interviewing, and selection of Direct Support Personnel
- Initiates Approval to Hire processes and delivers verbal offers of employment
- Develops and delivers written offer letters and HR termination letters
- Conducts orientations and onboarding for new employees
- Completes new employee hiring procedures in HRMS systems
- Creates employee personnel files and ensures compliance with deadlines
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required
- Two years of human resource experience required or equivalent combination of education and experience
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP highly preferred
- At least 5 years of leadership experience preferred
- Experience with non-profit or educational agencies strongly preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
