About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • The Manager – IT Applications is responsible to empower our community through the continuous development, deployment, integration and support of vendor proprietary enterprise application software.
  • This position manages the application teams that support the software necessary to run clinical, financial, or business systems within a large integrated health system.
  • The Manager – IT Applications fosters strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • This position is responsible for department daily operations, including the management, maintenance, upgrade and enhancement of the enterprise systems such that they meet performance and availability standards.
  • The Manager – IT Applications manages team resources for ongoing monitoring of existing systems and implementations.
  • This position is also responsible for partnering with customer stakeholders to objectively evaluate and prioritize a large volume of work requests and effectively manage resources to achieve team deliverables and goals.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelors in Healthcare, Business, Information Systems (IS), Computer Science, or related field Required
  • 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience. Required
  • 5 years of healthcare, consulting, or IT related experience that demonstrates an advanced understanding of the standard tools, workflow processes, and/or procedures and concepts used in the deployment and development of application software necessary to run the healthcare systems business, clinical or financial systems. Required
  • 3 years, of leadership or supervisory experience. Preferred
  • 8 years, of healthcare, consulting, or IT related experience that demonstrates an advanced understanding of the standard tools, workflow processes, and/or procedures and concepts used in the deployment and development of application software necessary to run the healthcare systems business, clinical or financial systems Preferred
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) - Certification, Other Training and/or certification in applicable methodologies and tool sets (ITIL, PMP, CPHIMS, etc.) Preferred.
