About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Work closely with customers to understand requirements and design customized BMS solutions
  • Optimize building performance and energy efficiency through advanced BMS solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within scope
  • Assist with input from key internal and external stakeholders, including ownership of subcontract designs such as panels
  • Implement and complete project designs using BMS and control systems, HVAC control, integration, and applications
  • Work with the Project Manager on engineering and design submittals, including equipment schedules and schematics, I/O data point lists, device/wiring layout drawings, and installation/commissioning
  • Develop and submit FAT and SAT documentation for customer approval
  • Compile training handover documentation for each project
  • Travel to customer and project sites across North East and surrounding areas, and occasionally further as required

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Previous experience in a project engineering capacity delivering technology-based projects, ideally within Building Management Systems
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work cooperatively and provide technical direction in a team environment
  • Strong commitment to safety and maintaining a safe working environment
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office products
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites and project sites
