About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage the SMB Panels Phase Out process, including running the phase-out tool in SAP, closing open orders, and writing ECNs
- Support Fire-Lite, Silent Knight, and Farenhyt customer-facing and ESD-facing websites with current manuals, datasheets, and related content
- Manage website content feeds to SED websites
- Own material extension and creation processes for SMB panel brands and reserve material SKUs in SAP
- Manage market and competitive research for SMB brands
- Create standardized research materials for Sales, Channel Marketing, Training, and Technical Support leadership use
- Translate customer needs and market insights into product requirements, feature definitions, and documentation
- Set priorities for engineering project execution through the Agile Release Train for the nominated portfolio
- Manage O&M activities with cross-functional contributors
- Produce marketing forecasts for demand planning, sourcing, and ISC
- Facilitate market adoption of NPI products and manage subsequent portfolio consolidation
- Lead and direct a global safety systems offering portfolio
- Collaborate cross-functionally and across organizational levels to develop product plans with strong financial outcomes
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years of experience in product management, hi-tech innovative product(s), or relevant marketing roles
- 3+ years’ experience with software (cloud/SaaS)-enabled outcome-based solutions
- Proven success in a product marketing or strategic marketing environment
- Ability to work in a matrix environment and influence and drive consensus across teams without direct authority
- Ability to collaborate and drive consensus across teams
- Skill in developing and maintaining relationships with key customers and field sales
- Ability to identify patterns among problems and issues
- Ability to make timely decisions while balancing systematic analysis
- Decisive and logical approach to thoroughly evaluating issues
- Excellent planning, execution, and project-management skills
- Experience with concept validation and market research methods such as voice of customer
- Ability to drive customer intimacy and understand customer needs
- Demonstrated effective presentation, written, and verbal communication skills
- Independent, entrepreneurial mindset with strong project ownership
- Must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or have asylum or refugee status in the U.S. due to U.S. export control laws and regulations
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Strategic Marketing, or a related field is valued/preferred, not required
