About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Perform advanced installation, maintenance, and repair of fire detection and life safety systems, including Honeywell XLS4000, XLS3000, Honeywell Self-Test technologies, and other Honeywell fire alarm systems
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues on-site to ensure system reliability and compliance with safety regulations
Collaborate with internal teams and customers to provide technical support and ensure seamless integration of fire and life safety solutions
Conduct system testing and inspections to verify proper operation and adherence to regulatory standards
Maintain accurate service records and documentation for all field activities

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum of 2 years of experience in field service or technical roles related to fire protection or life safety systems
Strong technical knowledge of fire detection, alarm systems, and life safety equipment, including installation and troubleshooting expertise
Proficiency with Honeywell XLS4000, Honeywell Self-Test, and Honeywell Connected Life Safety Services (CLSS)
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and regulatory codes related to fire safety systems
NICET certification Level I or higher is preferred; candidates without certification must be willing to obtain NICET Level I certification within 180 days of hire
Experience in fire protection or life safety industries, with a focus on customer service and technical excellence
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in the field
Knowledge of NFPA codes and standards and experience ensuring compliance
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and customers
