About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide technical expertise and support for complex technical issues, both remotely and on-site.
  • - Install and configure automation equipment, sensors, PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), and control systems.
  • - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement solutions for customer needs.
  • - Stay updated with industry trends and advancements and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • - Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • - Prepares evaluation reports, analyzes discrepancies, makes recommendations for and initiates improvements procedures and operational processes that improve productivity/ quality and reduce flowtime.
  • - Troubleshoots and repairs complex electrical/electronic problems with equipment, networks, PC logic controls, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and external Input/Output (I/O) devices.
  • - Conducts activities in a safe and healthy manner and works in accordance with established HSE requirements to ensure the protection of employees, the public, and the environment.
  • - Perform preventative maintenance to ensure system reliability and code compliance.
  • - Respond to urgent service calls and resolve system impairments.
  • - Participate in on-call rotations and provide after-hours support when required.
  • Inspection & Testing of safety devices
  • Perform routine inspections and functional testing of fire alarm and life safety systems.
  • Complete inspection/change outs reports accurately and submit documentation in a timely manner.
  • Identify system deficiencies and recommend corrective actions.
  • Install, program, and commission fire alarm systems, including panels, detectors, notification appliances, and related hardware

  • - Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in field service engineering, with a focus on complex technical solutions.
  • - Strong technical knowledge and expertise in relevant technologies.
  • - Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • - Ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks.
  • - Experience in driving process improvements and implementing best practices.
  • - Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
