About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide advanced program analysis, cost and schedule governance, process improvement, and performance metrics across large, complex programs.
  • Partner closely with Project Managers and Operations to establish program plans, develop and maintain cost and schedule baselines, and ensure execution discipline across multiple sites.
  • Deliver cost analysis, process improvements, and performance tracking for complex, multi-site programs.
  • Prepare, analyze, and interpret detailed cost, schedule, and performance reports for complex programs.
  • Lead Estimate at Completion (EAC) management, including cost walks, variance analysis, and forecasting accuracy.
  • Ensure strong cost and schedule integration across program baselines and execution updates.
  • Identify financial risks and opportunities; perform root cause and impact analysis and recommend corrective actions.
  • Lead compliance change management activities, ensuring adherence to SOX, internal controls, and Honeywell governance requirements.
  • Support audits and internal reviews by maintaining accurate, timely, and defensible program data.
  • Recommend and drive improvements to program controls processes, tools, and standard work.
  • Proactively and effectively communicate with Project Management teams, Business leadership, Finance, and customers.
  • Coach and mentor Project Analysts and junior Program Controls resources to develop technical skills, business acumen, and controls discipline.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2 plus years Project Controls (cost management) industry experience
  • MS Office and SAP applications (Project Accounting module)
  • Finance & cash flow – concepts, processes, planned, actual, forecast
  • Hands-on experience with project planning and scheduling tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level presentations.
  • Good knowledge of cost estimating, tracking and control
  • Good knowledge of contracts and business planning & analysis
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal and relationship building communication skills
  • Computer literate and experienced in Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team-based environment
  • Ability to multi-task; cope with the demands of simultaneous activities.
