About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- As a Sr. Advanced Electrical Engineer here at Honeywell, you will play a pivotal role in advancing the design and development of cutting-edge electrical systems and components.
- Use your advanced knowledge of the hardware engineering discipline, processes, and tools to help Honeywell HPS deliver innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers.
- You will work under limited supervision and alongside some of the world's most talented engineers.
- You will contribute to the development of Honeywell's next generation of industrial automation, sensing and control products by designing, testing and/or validating products/processes from prototype to market.
- You will be part of a group of highly committed professionals who provide expertise to ensure the success of complex engineering projects and programs while acting as a mentor to more junior engineers.
- You will interact with internal and external customers to facilitate the completion of products to customer specifications.
- Partner with various project teams to reach effective solutions to complex hardware engineering problems.
Requirements
What you’ll need- BS in Electrical Engineering or related field
- At least 25 years of experience in electronic design and related fields
- Subject matter expert in Intrinsically Safe design of electronic circuits
- Experience with TUV safety certification requirements and documentation
- Expert in power supply analysis, simulation, and design
- Experience with signal integrity measurements and simulation
- Experience with Honeywell Field Products Transmitter design and certification
- Experience with APL communication hardware layer circuit requirements and operation
- Experience P-Spice or Cadence software simulation package
- Experience with HC900 Modular Control System
