About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Execute projects by planning, organizing and controlling all elements of the project from sales turnover to delivery.
  • Work in collaboration with all functional groups within UOP, vendors and customer representatives to ensure that all project requirements are met as laid out in the contract.
  • Report directly to the Program Director.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a project or design engineering role focused on mechanical equipment or equipment systems.
  • Bachelors degree or higher in Engineering or similar field.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering engineering projects on time and within budget
  • Strong leadership and project management skills with expertise in monitoring project progress and risk mitigation
  • Experience in using project management tools and methodologies to ensure quality standards and timely delivery
  • Technical expertise in the relevant engineering discipline applicable to process technology projects
  • Familiarity and experience with QA/QC and site construction management.
  • Experience in petroleum refining, petrochemical, combustion, and/or gas processing industries
  • Strong oral and written communications skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team based environment.
  • Project Engineering experience with an EPC contractor
  • Strong multi-tasking skills, analytical skills, project delivery & financial skills
  • Flexibility in 10% domestic and international travel when required
