About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage and cultivate all engagements with existing and new OEMs within our Aerospace/Defense sector.
  • Build robust relationships and a deep understanding of customer needs to deliver optimal products and solutions.
  • Spearhead the development of sales and growth strategies tailored to key customers.
  • Ensure alignment with business objectives, focusing also on supporting USG customers.
  • Drive growth and strategic account management both nationally and globally, expanding pipelines and securing key wins.
  • Formulate and execute growth strategies that encompass multi-product offerings and articulate compelling value propositions tailored to customer needs.
  • Manage momentum through the sales cycle and deliver winning proposals.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Over 5 years of experience managing Aerospace and Defense or similar customers, with a track record of proactive sales growth.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent or an equivalent background in Aerospace and Defense.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Can influence at varying levels across the organization.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and navigate in a highly matrixed environment.
  • MBA or Advanced Degree preferred.
  • Strong analytical and financial skills.
  • Effectively getting results in a matrixed organization structure.
  • Clear communication and vision-setting skills.
  • Executed presence and interfacing with customers at all levels of the organization.
  • Developing and fostering strong customer relationships.
  • Strategic mindset to scope tasks and achieve goals.
  • Timely decision-making in the face of complexity and ambiguity.
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction (delivery, quality, reliability).
  • Other languages valued.
  • Deep market space understanding and experience in the commercial Aerospace and Defense industries, including current priorities in commercial space.
  • High-level security clearance accepted.
  • Remote role.
