Key responsibilities & impact

implements electrical projects as the Lead Engineer for an integrated system or sub-system
provides planning, reporting and management of the electrical project
takes full ownership of the electrical project elements and executes and/or delegate individual tasks throughout the project life cycle
coordinates and forecasting electrical resources in-house and on site
takes a systems approach in understanding core design features and overall electrical architecture
manages the scope, budget, schedule, maintaining internal and external customer expectations

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 4 years of Controls Engineering Experience in a similar role
Leadership experience (Project Lead, Project Manager, Supervisor, Team Lead, or similar)
Ability and willingness to travel up 60-70% of the time
E-Commerce Material Handling Systems
Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) Programming and Electrical Design of: Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Beckhoff Programmable Logic Controllers; Variable Frequency; Drive (VFD) programming and setup; Network Protocols – Serial, Ethernet IP, Profinet; Warehouse control system software interface and protocols; Human-machine Interface system design
Scanner and Machine vision system interface (SICK, COGNEX, Datalogic)
Project planning and budgeting
Effective writing and verbal skills
Tools and software – Logix 5000, Studio 5000, ZoneFlex Configurator, RSLinx, FactoryTalk View, B&R Automation Studio, AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, SST Profibus Configuration tool, Ignition, SOPAS, Datalogic DataMan, COGNEX, FT Logix Echo, FT Linx, Emulate 3D, Aveva Edge
