About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage demand and asset planning in a manufacturing environment
Develop executive and subdemand plan reviews
Lead, mentor, and motivate the demand planning team
Partner with SIOP process team and supply planners
Create, maintain, and analyze sales forecast and production plans
Conduct formal forecast reviews and improve forecast accuracy
Design and implement supply chain optimization projects
Work with leadership for the Annual Operating Plan and Strategic Planning Process
Process data and consolidate opportunities into a single forecast
Prepare and present regular reports on key performance metrics
Present demand forecasts to leadership at monthly meetings

Requirements

What you’ll need

6+ years of planning, materials, sourcing, or other related supply chain experience
Proven leadership skills with a track record of effectively managing teams.
Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills
Strong process orientation and experience in planning
Advanced MS Office skills with proficiency in Excel
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain/Logistics/Engineering
Experience with SAP ERP systems
Experience with a Demand Planning tool (e.g. RapidResponse, SAP APO module, Forecast Pro).
Certification in supply chain management (APICS, CPIM, CPSM, or CPF)
Proficient in Microsoft applications.
Excellent interpersonal skills with strong verbal & written communication skills.
Strong organizational skills and ability to efficiently multi-task, prioritize, and delegate.
Ability to collaborate with both internal and external customers.
