About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage all aspects of engagements with existing and new customers for our Portable Gas Detection organization.
  • Build relationships and understand customer business in order to provide appropriate products or solutions.
  • Define sales and growth strategy toward key customers while aligning with critical sales business objectives.
  • Identify opportunities and build credibility with customers.
  • Utilize product knowledge to deliver the value proposition to the customers.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in account management or sales, with a proven track record of managing key accounts and driving revenue growth.
  • Experience selling technical solutions direct to customers or through distribution channels.
  • Safety or gas detection experience.
  • Ability to travel (50%+) MD, NJ, NY, CT, PA, (remote position, can sit anywhere within territory).
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to influence at varying levels across the organization
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and navigate in a highly matrixed environment
  • Proactive, self-starter personality with results-oriented attitude
  • Strong capability in consultative selling: identifying opportunities, delivering value proposition, negotiating, and closing
  • Proficient with Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Zoom and CRM (preferably Salesforce)
