Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and drive the mechanical design process, from concept to production
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define mechanical requirements and specifications
- Design and develop complex mechanical systems, components, and assemblies
- Impact the creation and delivery of advanced mechanical designs that enhance product performance and reliability
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
- 6+ years of experience in mechanical design and development
- Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles and methodologies
- Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools, experience with mechanical analysis and simulation tools to ensure product performance and reliability
- Experience with mechanical analysis and simulation tools
- Advanced degrees such as Mechanical Engineering (ME) or related field
- Material handling industry
- Proven track record of successful mechanical design projects
- Ability to lead and mentor junior engineers
- Strong understanding of industry standards and best practices
- Experience with product testing and validation, knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes
