About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and optimize SAP FICO processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Analyze and improve financial and controlling IT systems to enhance performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement effective IT solutions.
- Provide expert guidance on IT strategies related to financial systems, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Partner with Communities of Excellence (COEs) to do the demo of solution to the super users & business, SME’s
- Functional data and data support and data mapping
- Partner with COEs on assessing the needs of security profiles for the business and mapping security roles of super user with TO BE responsibilities
- Guide and validate the business operating models based on Honeywell’s Global Design Model (GDM)
- Training the super users to ensure they are ready to do UAT and BOAT and support end user training plan
- Prepare and validate E2E testing, solution and scenario list
- Suggest and execute mitigation actions required from the readiness assessment
Requirements
What you’ll need- 7+ years of experience in IT analysis, particularly in financial systems.
- Proven track record of delivering IT projects
- Demonstrated experience in successfully leading technology projects to completion.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and quality standards in relevant industries.
- Proficiency in financial software and data analysis tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Experience with SAP S4 FICO or similar ERP systems
- Strong strategic thinking and business acumen.
- Excellent technical leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- SAP certifications in S/4 Finance (FI), Controlling (CO), or related financial modules.
- Experience working in complex, global finance and controlling environments.
- Strong understanding of end‑to‑end financial processes, including record‑to‑report, cost management, and financial close.
- Experience supporting financial integration across business domains, including Manufacturing, Logistics, and Capital Projects.
- Ability to translate complex financial and controlling requirements into clear system designs and business requirements.
- Strong documentation, training, and communication skills.
- Experience with structured testing methodologies, deployment readiness, and hypercare support.
