About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead and perform installation, maintenance, and repair of building fire systems and related equipment.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior field service technicians to enhance team performance.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues on-site to ensure minimal downtime for customers.
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineering teams to ensure smooth execution of service projects.
  • Maintain accurate service records and ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • YOU MUST HAVE
  • - Extensive experience in field service roles, particularly with building fire systems or related systems, demonstrating strong technical troubleshooting and repair skills.
  • - In-depth knowledge of building fire systems equipment, controls, and sensors.
  • - Proficiency with diagnostic tools and software applications relevant to field service operations.
  • - Ability to lead and mentor a team of technicians, managing priorities and ensuring high-quality service delivery.
  • - Familiarity with safety standards and compliance requirements in field service environments.
  • **WE VALUE**
  • - Associate degree or technical certification in Electrical, Mechanical, or related technical field.
  • - Minimum of 1 year of experience in field service within building fire systems.
  • - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • - Experience with Honeywell Building Fire Systems and software is highly desirable.
  • - Good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple service calls and projects efficiently.
  • - Nicet I or Nicet II Certification preferred
