About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Play a crucial role and be the main point of contact for compliance with product regulations, safety standards and specifications, as well as customer and product stewardship requirements.
- Responsible for developing and implementing strategies to meet regulatory requirements.
- Conduct product risk assessments and provide guidance to cross-functional teams.
- Ensure successful testing activities and high-quality product delivery.
- Lead and coordinate a team, develop and execute test plans, and provide technical expertise.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in safety, industrial, electrical, mechanical engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in product regulatory compliance or related field
- Knowledge of product regulations and standards and a distinct technical safety awareness
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Occupational Safety or Safety Management background Master's degree in Engineering or related field
- Experience in product regulatory compliance
- Comprehension and practical application of risk assessments
- Experience certifying new products according to applicable legislation
- Machinery safety/functional safety certification
- Proficient computer skills
- Understanding of regulatory quality processes
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
