About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • You will function as the Sr. Network Engineer/Analyst responsible for designing, deploying, and operating enterprise campus wireless infrastructure based on standard global architecture.
  • You will build, operate, and continuously improve large‑scale Campus Wireless networks, including transition from legacy WLAN solutions to centrally managed, cloud‑based wireless platforms.
  • You will design and implement secure, highly available wireless solutions supporting enterprise, guest, and industrial/IoT use cases.
  • You will work closely with Datacenter, WAN/SD‑WAN, Security, and Workplace Technology teams to ensure end‑to‑end service integration involving DNS, DHCP, authentication (802.1X), network segmentation, and routing.
  • You will proactively monitor wireless performance and user experience, identify RF and capacity issues, and drive remediation to avoid business disruption.
  • You will lead wireless site surveys, migrations, upgrades, and cutovers, including Day‑0/Day‑1/Day‑2 operational readiness and post‑deployment optimization.
  • You will support incident, problem, and change activities, contributing to standard runbooks, design templates, and operational documentation.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree OR 5+ years of IT infrastructure experience.
  • 5+ years of hands‑on experience managing enterprise‑scale wireless networks across multiple sites and regions.
  • 3+ years of experience designing and implementing Campus Wireless solutions in large environments.
  • Strong experience with Cisco Wireless and/or Juniper Mist Wireless environments (cloud‑managed WLAN experience strongly preferred).
  • Solid understanding of OSI Layer concepts, including ARP, STP, TCP/IP, routing fundamentals, wireless protocols (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax), broadcast, multicast, and QoS.
  • Working knowledge of authentication and access control technologies such as 802.1X, RADIUS, certificate‑based access, and integration with identity platforms.
