About the role
- Conduct site assessments and compile data required for feasibility studies
- Apply financial modeling techniques to support DER solution development
- Design and analyze electrical distribution systems, BESS, solar PV, CHP, and microgrid controllers across assigned projects
- Collaborate within cross-functional teams of power engineers, project managers, and software developers
- Provide engineering support to project execution teams during post-contract phases
- Develop energy and financial models to evaluate DER solutions
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field with a focus on power systems or energy systems
- 4–6 years of experience in distributed energy resources (DER), microgrids, and energy solutions development
- 4–6 years of working knowledge of power systems, including electrical distribution, DER integration (solar, BESS, CHP), and commercial & industrial energy infrastructure
