About the role

  • Develop and implement advanced application engineering solutions aligned with customer requirements and business objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including sales, product development, and support, to ensure successful project execution.
  • Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to junior engineers and key stakeholders on complex engineering challenges.
  • Support product commercialization efforts by contributing technical expertise, customer insights, and market feedback.
  • Delivering applications and product support to external customers, ensuring timely and effective issue resolution.
  • Manage customer issues through clear communication, responsive follow‑up, and internal advocacy within Honeywell.
  • Collaborate closely with local and global team members to resolve customer problems and share knowledge and best practices.
  • Contribute to knowledge‑sharing initiatives, including online knowledge base content, customer newsletters, and release reviews/testing.
  • Deliver customer training and provide technical support to the sales organization.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance application performance, customer satisfaction, and overall team effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
  • Minimum of 8-10 years relevant experience – use of Process Control Monitoring tools. Ideally some industrial experience – knowledge of refinery processes, process automation, PID control desirable
  • Strong expertise in advanced application development, problem-solving, and technical solution delivery.
  • Proficiency with relevant engineering software tools and technologies specific to the industry.
  • Experience in project management, resource allocation, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Deep knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices applicable to application engineering.
  • Master’s degree in engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading complex engineering projects and delivering results.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills with a customer-focused mindset.
  • Ability to mentor and develop junior engineers and foster a collaborative team environment.
  • Experience with product development lifecycle and commercialization processes.
