About the role

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective solutions within the SAP ecosystem.
  • Configure and customize SAP systems, conducting workshops, providing guidance on best practices, and ensuring successful delivery of projects.
  • Report to our Sr IT Director.
  • Work out of our Charlotte, NC or Atlanta, GA location on a hybrid basis.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their order management processes, challenges, and requirements.
  • Design SAP S/4 HANA solutions for order management processes, considering industry best practices and business needs.
  • Ensure seamless integration between SAP Order Management and other SAP modules (such as Sales, Logistics, Finance) and external systems.
  • Develop and execute test scripts to ensure the configured solutions meet business requirements and perform as expected.
  • Provide training to end-users on new processes and functionalities. Create documentation including user manuals, configuration guides, and training materials.
  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance for SAP Order Management solutions, including troubleshooting issues, applying patches, and implementing enhancements.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization within SAP Order Management, leveraging new features and functionalities of SAP S/4 HANA.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, project managers, developers, and other consultants to ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as an SAP consultant specializing in Order Management, with a focus on SAP S/4 HANA.
  • In-depth knowledge of SAP Order Management module, including configuration, customization, and integration with other SAP modules.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP S/4 HANA implementation projects, including full lifecycle implementations and system conversions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex business processes and translate them into SAP solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
  • Bachelor's degree.
