About the role

  • Own and lead the end-to-end Finance workstream from blueprint through realization, testing, cut-over, go-live, and hyper-care.
  • Design and deliver S/4HANA Finance solutions including General Ledger, Accounts Receivable/Payable, Asset Accounting, Cost Center/Product Costing, Profitability Analysis (CO-PA), Material Ledger, Central Finance (if applicable), and Group Consolidation/Reporting.
  • Drive manufacturing-specific finance processes: product costing (standard/actual), production variance analysis, overhead allocation, make-to-stock/order costing, scrap/rework accounting, and inventory valuation.
  • Manage integration points with PS, MM, SD, and external systems (e.g., treasury, tax engines, banking platforms).
  • Lead fit-gap analysis, functional specifications, RICEFW objects prioritization, and custom development governance (clean-core approach).
  • Oversee data migration strategy for finance master data (GL accounts, cost centers, profit centers, internal orders) and historical transactions.
  • Define and execute testing strategy (unit, integration, UAT, regression) for finance scenarios.
  • Drive change management, super-user training, and organizational readiness across finance, controlling, and plant finance teams.
  • Provide regular steering committee updates and risk/issue management
  • Post go-live: stabilize the solution, transition to ERP Operations team, and plan future enhancements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or Business.
  • 10+ years of SAP Finance FI and CO experience. With at least 2 full cycle S/4 HANA implementations as Finance lead.
  • Deep expertise in SAP FICO, Controlling (CO), Material Ledger, and S/4HANA Finance innovations (Universal Journal, Margin Analysis, Event-Based Revenue Recognition, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end Finance and Controlling processes
  • Experience working in global organizations with multi-country requirements
  • Skilled in troubleshooting, testing support, and resolving process issues
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across global teams
  • Team lead experience, having led team of SAP FICO consultants
  • SAP Certification
  • Project management experience and Green Belt Certification
