About the role

  • Design, develop, and integrate embedded software solutions for new product development
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams in hardware, software, systems and R&D lab to bring new product initiatives to life.
  • Engage in the full software development lifecycle from concept through deployment.
  • Provide ongoing support and enhancements for existing sensing and guidance products
  • Work with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into detailed low-level embedded software designs and architectures.
  • Architect and code embedded software solutions, ensuring scalability and performance
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of software development processes and methodologies
  • Execute and/or support Integration, Test and Certification processes.

Requirements

  • **YOU MUST HAVE**
  • - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
  • - Embedded software engineering experience, particularly on low-level embedded software development**
  • **WE VALUE**
  • - Proficiency across the embedded software development lifecycle
  • - Experience with System on Chip (SoC) and Multi-core processors
  • - Knowledge of Agile development processes
  • - Experience with Input/Output processing for A429 and Ethernet interfaces
  • - Knowledge of software configuration and change management practices with DOORS and Atlassian tools
  • - Experience with bare-metal programming, with a focus on low-level hardware interaction is of value.
  • - Wide degree of creativity and latitude
  • - Knowledge of optical systems, sensing and laser technologies is a plus, but not required. **
