About the role
- Design, develop, and integrate embedded software solutions for new product development
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams in hardware, software, systems and R&D lab to bring new product initiatives to life.
- Engage in the full software development lifecycle from concept through deployment.
- Provide ongoing support and enhancements for existing sensing and guidance products
- Work with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into detailed low-level embedded software designs and architectures.
- Architect and code embedded software solutions, ensuring scalability and performance
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of software development processes and methodologies
- Execute and/or support Integration, Test and Certification processes.
Requirements
- **YOU MUST HAVE**
- - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
- - Embedded software engineering experience, particularly on low-level embedded software development**
- **WE VALUE**
- - Proficiency across the embedded software development lifecycle
- - Experience with System on Chip (SoC) and Multi-core processors
- - Knowledge of Agile development processes
- - Experience with Input/Output processing for A429 and Ethernet interfaces
- - Knowledge of software configuration and change management practices with DOORS and Atlassian tools
- - Experience with bare-metal programming, with a focus on low-level hardware interaction is of value.
- - Wide degree of creativity and latitude
- - Knowledge of optical systems, sensing and laser technologies is a plus, but not required. **
