About the role
- Perform the design, development and integration of automatic flight control systems ensuring they meet integrated avionics system and customer requirements
- Responsibility for the AFCS development at the level of AFCS subsystems – including planning, reporting, technical team coordination and communication
- Model-Based development using MATLAB/Simulink
- Conduct validation and verification/testing of the system to ensure compliance with requirements and aerospace industry standards
- Collaboration with domestic and international teams and customers including possible ground or flight test activities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as Avionics/Aerospace Engineering/Mechatronics/Electrical Engineering/Control Systems/Industrial Automation
- 4+ years experience with systems development of aerospace, automotive, rail, or similar safety-critical systems
- Experienced with model-based development in MATLAB/Simulink (or similar tools used in systems development, modeling and simulation)
- Experience with requirements development and usage of configuration management tools (e.g. DOORS or DOORS NG)
- Experience with requirements verification and validation
- Basic knowledge of aircraft/avionics functions and systems
- Previous experience with Flight Control and/or Flight Guidance systems
- Advanced knowledge of systems/software development lifecycle
- Knowledge of aerospace system/software development standards (SAE ARP 4754A (B), RTCA DO-178, DO-331)
- Experience with scripting language (e.g. Python)
- Ability to communicate fluently in English
- Self-starter, motivated and takes initiative and able to work independently and consistently takes the initiative to get things done
- Strong analytical ability
- Interested in working in fast paced, global business environment
- Reliable, trustworthy, and highest ethical standards
- Good communication skills
- Must meet any applicable Export License conditions in terms of nationality for the given project.
- Capability and willingness to travel abroad for trainings, business meetings and customer support
