About the role
- Collaborate with senior engineers to develop, test and validate hardware components for next-generation aircraft weather radar systems
- Execute project subtasks (Designing, Testing, etc) and follow methodologies that push forward new concepts or refine existing concepts
- Refine engineering designs by drafting and releasing drawing changes in Team Center
- Troubleshoot, debug and diagnose product performance issues
- Assist in product and process certification for customer acceptance
- Collaborate with obsolescence team in identifying and qualifying alternate part, keeping our products at the cutting edge of technology
- Communicate any non-compliance incidents and results of internal project audits to stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
- Relevant academic, internship, project or professional experience in hardware engineering or related fields
- Degree in Electrical, Hardware Engineering or related field
- Familiarity with a variety of hardware engineering principles, methodologies and specifications
- Experience in Aerospace, Avionics, Radar, RF or related is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- A passion for aerospace technology and commitment to continuous learning
