About the role

  • Collaborate with senior engineers to develop, test and validate hardware components for next-generation aircraft weather radar systems
  • Execute project subtasks (Designing, Testing, etc) and follow methodologies that push forward new concepts or refine existing concepts
  • Refine engineering designs by drafting and releasing drawing changes in Team Center
  • Troubleshoot, debug and diagnose product performance issues
  • Assist in product and process certification for customer acceptance
  • Collaborate with obsolescence team in identifying and qualifying alternate part, keeping our products at the cutting edge of technology
  • Communicate any non-compliance incidents and results of internal project audits to stakeholders

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
  • Relevant academic, internship, project or professional experience in hardware engineering or related fields
  • Degree in Electrical, Hardware Engineering or related field
  • Familiarity with a variety of hardware engineering principles, methodologies and specifications
  • Experience in Aerospace, Avionics, Radar, RF or related is a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • A passion for aerospace technology and commitment to continuous learning
