About the role

  • Design, Testing and validating products & processes from prototype to market
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Identify opportunities and propose technical improvements for existing and new product lines
  • Execute and plan project subtasks (Designing, Testing, etc)
  • Refine engineering designs by drafting and releasing drawing changes in Team Center
  • Establish and follow methodologies that push forward new concepts or refine existing concepts
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose product performance issues
  • Assist in product and process certification for customer acceptance
  • Collaborate with obsolescence team in identifying and qualifying alternate part
  • Communicate any non-compliance incidents and results of internal project audits to stakeholders
  • Guide engineers, technicians and associates to ensure project and product adherence to specifications and quality standards

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
  • Strong understanding of a variety of hardware engineering principles, methodologies and specifications
  • Minimum of 6-7 years of experience in Hardware engineering
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Experience in Aerospace, Avionics, Radar, RF or related is of value.
  • Capability to complete demanding assignments by applying advanced hardware engineering methods and tools
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams to deliver optimal solutions
  • Ability to consistently make timely decisions and balance program demands
