About the role

  • Flight Controls Servo, Flight Guidance, Autopilot, Virtual Guidance Panel or Maintenance Systems design
  • Requirement analysis and decomposition
  • Model based development
  • Systems integration
  • Systems validation & verification
  • Flight Test support e.g., on local Bonanza test plane
  • Work with systems/software engineers and other Honeywell teams during developing and integrating solutions for Honeywell Anthem product as well as for Honeywell customers
  • Actively support Internal and External Audits

Requirements

  • BS/MS in Electrical Engineering/Controls Systems/Aeronautical Studies
  • Ability to quickly analyze, incorporate and apply new information and concepts
  • Skilled in Matlab/Simulink
  • Ability to communicate fluently in English
  • Knowledge of DO-178B/C
  • Knowledge of C or any scripting language (e.g., Python)
  • Self - starter, motivated and takes initiative and able to work independently
  • Interest in working in fast paced, global business environment
  • Very good communication skills
  • Actively identify new technological opportunities that will help achieve incremental or step change improvements
  • Capability and willingness to travel abroad for trainings, business meetings and customer support
