About the role

  • Lead the design and integration of jet engines for military fixed-wing applications, ensuring compliance with specifications and requirements.
  • Lead engine related systems integration, design and support for military fixed wing (CCA, F124, TFE1042) applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets, driving operational excellence.
  • Leadership capability with diverse, cross functional international team
  • Escalate effectively with leadership and cross-functionally across the organization
  • Strong commitment to customer satisfaction
  • Bias toward creative thinking and innovation in product design and approach to everyday work
  • Implement design-to-cost and variation-reduction strategies
  • Promote and build strong team, culture and working relationships

Requirements

  • Due to US export control laws, must be a US Citizen, permanent resident, or have protected status
  • 5 or more years US Military Service or Aerospace experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering desired
  • Master’s Degree in Engineering or Business (MBA)
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and manage workload.
  • Prior systems engineering experience either through direct industry experience or education/training.
  • Ability to execute complex projects in an organized and efficient way
  • Capability to facilitate interpersonal relationships and resolve conflicts tactfully and effectively.
  • Ability to escalate effectively with leadership and cross-functionally across the organization
  • Focus on results and effective execution of projects
  • Excellent oral and written communications.
  • Experience using DOORS, CAMEO, SysML, and/or other RBE/MBE programs
  • Aerospace, Mechanical or Systems Engineering Degree
