About the role
- Lead the design and integration of jet engines for military fixed-wing applications, ensuring compliance with specifications and requirements.
- Lead engine related systems integration, design and support for military fixed wing (CCA, F124, TFE1042) applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets, driving operational excellence.
- Leadership capability with diverse, cross functional international team
- Escalate effectively with leadership and cross-functionally across the organization
- Strong commitment to customer satisfaction
- Bias toward creative thinking and innovation in product design and approach to everyday work
- Implement design-to-cost and variation-reduction strategies
- Promote and build strong team, culture and working relationships
Requirements
- Due to US export control laws, must be a US Citizen, permanent resident, or have protected status
- 5 or more years US Military Service or Aerospace experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering desired
- Master’s Degree in Engineering or Business (MBA)
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and manage workload.
- Prior systems engineering experience either through direct industry experience or education/training.
- Ability to execute complex projects in an organized and efficient way
- Capability to facilitate interpersonal relationships and resolve conflicts tactfully and effectively.
- Ability to escalate effectively with leadership and cross-functionally across the organization
- Focus on results and effective execution of projects
- Excellent oral and written communications.
- Experience using DOORS, CAMEO, SysML, and/or other RBE/MBE programs
- Aerospace, Mechanical or Systems Engineering Degree
