About the role
- Lead a team to optimize manufacturing processes

- Report directly to the Director of Advanced Manufacturing Engineering
- Work out of the Tempe, AZ location onsite
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, or mathematics.
- 5 years of Engineering, Program Management or Integrated Supply Chain experience
- Product knowledge in valves, pumps, actuators, and environmental control systems
- Ability to read engineering mechanical drawings and assess for manufacturing capability
- Knowledge of casting and machining processes
- Excellent computer skills with advanced knowledge of Excel, Power Point, Word, and MS Project
- Position requires manufacturing and supplier factory floor exposure requiring safety shoes and glasses
- Excellent communication skills including oral, written and presentation
- Advanced understanding of manufacturing techniques and their impact on costs
- Proficiency in project management skills with the ability to close initiatives on time and within budget
- Green Belt, DFSS, Black Belt, Lean, or HOS certification. Demonstrated ability in using six sigma tools
- Experience with DFMEA/PFMEA/MSA and other APQP elements
- Knowledge of SAP, Teamcenter, and other data system applications
- U.S. person requirement: A U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.
