About the role
- Responsible for the overall execution of the systems design, engineering, implementation, commissioning and documentation of a project
- Review project documentation for impacts on scope and schedule, coordinating responses with the project manager
- Define the engineering work schedule with the project manager and drive the team to deliver on time
- Direct day to day engineering and technical activities
- Manage QA procedures to ensure defect‑free hardware and software for field delivery
- Manage resource allocation across multiple projects, ensuring high‑utilization support where needed
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or Mechatronics or equivalent industry experience
- Strong Engineering skills in building controls, automation, specifically in “BMS” or “HVAC” preferred
- At least 7 years’ leadership/supervisory experience on relevant projects, with strong on-site knowledge, design understanding, and coordination capability
- Experienced and good understanding of BMS and/or HVAC full cycle project fundamentals and execution
- Ability to lead, coach a team, work cooperatively and provide technical direction in a team environment
- Proven track record in building strong relationships with clients and customer engagement
- Ability to work under pressure and respond to requests in a timely manner
- Self-motivated, with the ability to meet deadlines and determine own work priorities
- Can demonstrate financial and commercial acumen.
