About the role

  • Share a vision and mission for the GES Egypt team.
  • Keep very high employee motivation to deliver on quality and schedule for all assignments. Drive employee engagement and keep attrition under control for key positions.
  • Drive standard HR Processes like HPD, succession planning, performance driven differentiation.
  • Effective employee communication through skip level meetings, town halls, focus group communications etc.
  • Drive talent acquisition with staffing function and maintain skills and competencies of the team in line with LOB requirements.
  • Drive compliance by supporting GMS, Finance and HR teams for all statutory requirements for taxes, immigration, and employment related requirements.
  • Drive improvements and report key metrics for GES like – engineering hours, billability, customer satisfaction, cost, flex %, BTI support, skills and competencies, etc.
  • Drive adoption of tools and deliver Engineering productivity as per AOP.
  • Participate in Demand calls and prepare Demand plans for all LOBs.
  • Close coordination with Engineer Leaders and business leadership to meet business requirements
  • Work with global HPS front offices to maximize GES content and maintain effective communication with Global LOBs.
  • Demonstrate global mindset by working in a OneGES environment.
  • Drive continuous improvements projects for productivity and participate and lead Kaizen workshops, Kaizen events. Drive Six Sigma adoption
  • Maintain day to day operations for entire GES Egypt team.

Requirements

  • Degree in engineering - Instrumentation and Control or equivalent
  • Senior experience as a Advanced System Engineer / Advanced Field services engineer. Should have worked as engineer / lead engineer for hands on experience
  • Experience essential in:
  • - Design, engineering, and deployment activities for control engineering / PLCs, panels, instrumentation, TAS, Software Configuration etc.
  • - Customer interfacing, project management and resource management.
  • - Operations management for achieving the business results.
  • - Basic experience working in a large multinational organization in a highly matrix environment.
  • - Experience setting up and maintaining operating systems such as HOS, and improvement tools like Six Sigma.
