About the role

  • As a Hardware Test Engineer I at Honeywell Aerospace Technologies, you will help support sub-assembly CCA and system level testing.
  • Work will also involve providing Jump Network Support, including setup, troubleshooting, Jump PC setup, config, updates; Test Station setup and troubleshooting.
  • This role will also resolve anomalies with Test Software/Test Station/Unit Under Test Investigations, working with a cross-functional team within Honeywell’s Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) and CSC.
  • You will also support ongoing and future modernization efforts in this role.
  • You will play a key role as part of a multidisciplinary team, supporting both hardware and software testing of circuit card assemblies and ensuring quality standards are met.
  • Develop, design, and debug hardware in sub-assembly and system level testing.
  • Provide software support for testing and debugging sub-assembly and system level assemblies.
  • Develop and execute procedures for functional testing of sub-assembly and system level products.
  • Continuously improve testing techniques and workflows to optimize efficiency and product quality.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot equipment to minimize downtime and performance issues.
  • Test Station setup and troubleshooting

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
  • Combination of academic, intern/co-op, and work experience in Electrical/Hardware Engineering, Test Engineering or related
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Enthusiasm for learning and a willingness to develop expertise in advanced testing platforms and tools.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Experience in some of the following is of value:
  • Experience in circuit card assembly testing or a similar role.
  • Hands-on experience with hardware equipment debug and functional test.
  • Proficient in supporting and troubleshooting test stations, sub-assemblies and system level products.
  • Knowledge of electronics manufacturing processes and standards.
  • Experience with industry-standard software tools for test automation and system debugging.
