About the role
- As a Systems Engineer II within our (NGA) Next-Generation Avionics group, you will make an impact on the development, implementation, and management of cutting-edge Flight Display Systems.
- Contribute development, systems integration, and verification of core Display applications for our Next Generation Avionics Platform.
- Work alongside a diverse team of engineers and designers to create and implement forward-thinking solutions for Anthem Flight Display Systems.
- Designing, analyzing, and validating system requirements to ensure the successful integration of advanced avionics technologies.
- Systems/software requirements development, validation, integration or verification.
- Model-based System Design (using Simulink).
- Arinc 661 graphics development (using Scade).
- Creating test cases for software based upon use cases derived from the system and software requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration of avionics systems.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends in avionics and systems engineering.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
- 2 years of experience in systems engineering
- Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.
- Passion for innovation and continuous learning
- Advanced Engineering degrees in AE (Aerospace Engineering), SE (Systems Engineering), etc
- Understanding of systems engineering principles and processes.
- Familiarity with avionics systems and display technologies is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively in a team environment.
- Experience with Simulink or similar model-based design tools
- Experience with IMA IO and IO Scheduling Tools (ESCAPE, PCT, HARMONIC) a plus
