About the role

  • You will play a critical role in the design, implementation, and management of complex systems and solutions that drive innovation, safety, and efficiency in the aerospace industry.
  • You will work within cross-functional teams on cutting-edge projects that transform the way aircraft operate.
  • Your experience in systems engineering will be instrumental in shaping the future of aerospace technology.
  • You will report directly to one of our Next-Gen Avionics Engineering Managers and you'll work out of our north Phoenix, Arizona location on a hybrid work schedule.
  • In this role, you will be responsible for development, systems integration, and verification of core Displays Apps to be hosted on the Next Generation Avionics Platform.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as Engineering, Systems or Computer Science degree
  • 10 plus years of experience in systems engineering
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision

  • Advanced Engineering degrees like AE (Aerospace Engineering), SE (Systems Engineering)
  • Experience with IMA IO and IO Scheduling Tools (ESCAPE, PCT, HARMONIC)
  • Familiarity with the NGA System Architecture
  • Experience with Simulink or similar model-based design tool
  • Experience in complex system integration projects
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and best practices
  • Knowledge of change management practices
  • Knowledge of system certification requirements and documentation
  • Passion for innovation and continuous learning
