About the role

  • Support and assist our customers in planning/design, preparation of proposals and with product presentations and customer visits in the area of voice alarm and public address systems (e.g., schools, theatres, conference halls, and more)
  • Analyze business opportunities and translate them into projects to capitalize on them
  • Advise sales partners and end customers
  • Create audio simulations (EASE) and 3D models
  • Perform technical and commercial review of enquiries using the sales information system
  • Provide customer-, market-, market-research- and product-specific information to supervisors and to inside sales
  • Maintain contacts with design offices, building authorities, installers, customers, etc.; acquire new accounts, support and advise them, and supply relevant information and documentation
  • Conduct customer and competitor analyses and forecast order intake and revenue development within the sales territory
  • Collaborate with sales to create revenue and sales planning (sales planning to guide production and purchasing, SIOP)
  • Organize and conduct sales events and training

Requirements

  • Vocational/academic qualification in electrical engineering — master technician / technician / engineer
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in voice alarm systems
  • Excellent knowledge of electrical and room acoustics / computer simulation
  • Several years of field sales experience
  • Willingness to work in a multifunctional, international corporation
  • Customer-oriented and confident manner
  • Strong communication skills; ability to work independently and solution-oriented, analytical thinking and ability to keep an overview in complex projects
  • Committed, motivated and a strong team player
  • Well-founded market knowledge
  • Analytical and strategic skills
  • Fluent German (spoken and written) and good command of English
  • Willingness to travel (up to 40% of working time)
  • Driving licence class B (cars / minibuses)
