About the role

  • play a critical role in the design, implementation, and management of complex Fight Display Systems and advanced Avionics solutions
  • collaborate with cross-functional teams on cutting-edge projects that transform the way aircrafts operate
  • drive the development, systems integration, and verification of core Flight Displays Applications to be hosted on the Next Generation Avionics Platform
  • act as a technical expert in their realm of function for internal and external customers
  • present project and/or program status to Anthem Avionics leaders, ensuring transparency and engagement
  • ensure internal processes and procedures align with Aerospace and Honeywell Standards
  • interface with teams to address and resolve project/program issues with creativity and insight
  • influence fellow engineers to accept new concepts, practices, and approaches
  • project coordination
  • knowledge of aerospace process development for systems, software and V&V

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
  • 6 years of experience supporting Aerospace programs
  • Working experience on Agile methodologies and/or certified scrum master
  • Knowledge of Aerospace development for systems, software and V&V
  • Individuals that quickly analyze, incorporate and apply new information and concepts
  • A passion for collaboration within a diverse and global team that values different perspectives and ideas
  • Apply mastery of a specific professional discipline or broader expertise in most or all areas within a function
  • Individuals who are self-motivated, who consistently take the initiative to get things done
  • Ability to adapt dictated by project changes
  • Multi-tasking and the ability to manage a variety of complicated tasks and people
