About the role

  • Architect, design, integrate, and validate various interconnected, advanced aerospace systems
  • Lead major work packages, coordinate across hardware and software teams
  • Ensure compliance with all customer and regulatory requirements
  • Recognized as a technical expert and decision maker on key programs
  • Own system-level requirements, ensure compliance through traceability
  • Own system integration and verification at the product or system level
  • Support both internal and customer facing technical review
  • Lead risk management activities and failure effects analysis (FMEA)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality standards and operational efficiency
  • Identify and execute cost, schedule, and technical efficiency improvements
  • Travel within U.S. and/or Internationally: 10%

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
  • At least 6 years of Systems Engineering experience
  • Proven experience in datalink communications systems
  • Deep knowledge and experience with ARINC 664, CPDLC or FANS datalink communication systems
  • Experience with Aerospace, Airsim, Multisim, MATLAB, Teamcenter, DOORS, JIRA
  • Working knowledge of industry standard communication protocols (ARINC, MIL-STD-1553, CAN)
  • Lab experience testing and verifying requirements of systems and software
  • Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision, who consistently take the initiative to get things done
  • Ability to adapt dictated by project changes
  • Multi-tasking and the ability to manage a variety of complicated tasks
  • Diverse thoughts and ideas; and experience teaming and collaboration with global Engineers
  • An understanding of data and networking structures, protocols and apply analytical problem-solving methods.
