About the role
- Lead the design and development of advanced electrical systems and components, including PCBs/CCAs
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to cross-functional teams.
- Conduct feasibility studies and analyze technical requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure successful project execution
- Design and develop high reliability power electronics, including isolated and non-isolated DC-DC converters (power stages, magnetics, control) and EMI filters
- Analyze and lab test analog and DC-DC conversion circuits
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources
- Mentor early career power supply design engineers
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in technical disciplines such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics.
- 6 years of experience in electrical engineering.
- Proven track record of successfully leading complex electrical engineering projects.
- Strong knowledge of electrical design principles and practices.
- Proficiency in electrical design software and tools such as Mentor Graphics, LTSpice and Mathcad.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Master's or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Experience with advanced electrical engineering concepts and methodologies.
- Strong leadership and project management abilities.
- Ability to drive innovation and implement new technologies.
- Expertise in specialized areas of electrical engineering (e.g., power systems, EMC/EMI, Digital design, etc.).
- Experience designing module or box level high reliability power electronics, including designs with various isolated and non-isolated DC to DC converters.
