About the role
- Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse engineering team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.
- Provide technical guidance and oversight for software and firmware development, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and secure solutions for the MB Secure platform and MB panel.
- Plan, prioritize, and manage Engineering tasks and resources to deliver projects on time and within scope, addressing risks and resolving issues proactively.
- Conduct performance reviews, support career development, and manage talent to build a high-performing team.
- Work closely with product management, hardware engineering, and other stakeholders across the US, Germany, China, and India to achieve project objectives and drive continuous improvement.
- Champion best practices in software development, testing, and release management to optimize team productivity and product quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in software or firmware development, with at least 2 years in a technical leadership or management role.
- Demonstrated experience managing large, multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle, firmware integration, and QA processes.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, international environment.
- **Preferred Qualifications:**
- Master’s degree in a relevant technical field.
- Experience with security platforms, embedded systems, or the MB Secure platform ecosystem.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools.
- Experience collaborating with engineering teams across multiple countries and time zones.
