About the role
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in the design, testing and validation of product/processes for advanced radar products from prototype to market.
- Identify opportunities and propose technical improvements
- Execute and plan project subtasks (Designing, Testing, etc)
- Refine engineering designs by drafting and releasing drawing changes in Team Center.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose product performance issues.
- Establish and follow methodologies that push forward new concepts or refine existing concepts
- Suggest enhancements to advance projects and products.
- Assist in product and process certification for customer acceptance
- Collaborate with obsolescence team in identifying and qualifying alternate part, keeping our products at the cutting edge of technology.
- Communicate any non-compliance incidents and results of internal project audits to stakeholders
- Guide engineers, technicians and associates to ensure project and product adherence to specifications and quality standards.
- Consult with vendors and suppliers to ensure product and project compliance
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
- Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in Hardware engineering
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Deep understanding of a variety of hardware engineering principles, methodologies and specifications
- Experience in Aerospace, Avionics, Radar, RF or related is of value.
- Capability to complete demanding assignments by applying advanced hardware engineering methods and tools
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams to deliver optimal solutions
- Ability to consistently make timely decisions and balance program demands
- Capability to follow guidelines and ensure efficiency on given project tasks
