About the role

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in the design, testing and validation of product/processes for advanced radar products from prototype to market.
  • Identify opportunities and propose technical improvements
  • Execute and plan project subtasks (Designing, Testing, etc)
  • Refine engineering designs by drafting and releasing drawing changes in Team Center.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose product performance issues.
  • Establish and follow methodologies that push forward new concepts or refine existing concepts
  • Suggest enhancements to advance projects and products.
  • Assist in product and process certification for customer acceptance
  • Collaborate with obsolescence team in identifying and qualifying alternate part, keeping our products at the cutting edge of technology.
  • Communicate any non-compliance incidents and results of internal project audits to stakeholders
  • Guide engineers, technicians and associates to ensure project and product adherence to specifications and quality standards.
  • Consult with vendors and suppliers to ensure product and project compliance

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
  • Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in Hardware engineering
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Deep understanding of a variety of hardware engineering principles, methodologies and specifications
  • Experience in Aerospace, Avionics, Radar, RF or related is of value.
  • Capability to complete demanding assignments by applying advanced hardware engineering methods and tools
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams to deliver optimal solutions
  • Ability to consistently make timely decisions and balance program demands
  • Capability to follow guidelines and ensure efficiency on given project tasks
