About the role
- Diagnose and repair complex technical issues
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot fire alarm systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct regular inspections and tests of fire alarm systems to comply with safety regulations.
- Perform preventive maintenance on equipment
- Provide technical support and guidance to customers
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to resolve customer issues
- Maintain accurate records of service activities and customer interactions
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in field service or technical support roles related to fire alarm systems.
- Strong technical knowledge of fire alarm systems and relevant safety standards.
- Experience with troubleshooting and repairing electronic systems.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software related to fire alarm systems.
- Familiarity with building codes and fire safety regulations.
- Technical certification in fire alarm systems or related field.
- Experience with NICET II certification and its application in fire alarm systems.
- Experience in customer service and support roles.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
