About the role
- Lead mechanical design projects from concept through production, ensuring adherence to quality standards and manufacturability
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including hardware and PCB designers, to develop integrated mechanical solutions
- Provide ongoing production support by resolving mechanical design issues encountered during manufacturing processes
- Create detailed mechanical drawings and models using design software such as CATIA, CREO, or SolidWorks
- Manage design data and workflows by implementing PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) systems
- Perform simulations and analyses to validate and optimize mechanical designs, exploring generative design techniques to foster innovation
Requirements
- Master’s degree in mechanical engineering or an equivalent qualification
- Over 7 years of mechanical design experience, preferably within an industrial environment
- Minimum of 2 years supporting production processes and activities
- Strong understanding of Design for Manufacturing and Design for Automation principles
- Experience collaborating with hardware and PCB design teams
- Proficiency in CAD design software such as CREO or NX
- Full professional proficiency in English
