About the role
- Developing and executing account plans to achieve sales targets and objectives
- Identifying new business opportunities and expanding the customer base
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive solutions to customers
- Providing technical expertise and support to customers throughout the sales process
- Conducting product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the value of our building automation solutions
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of quota carrying experience in sales or account management.
- Post-Secondary education in technical field
- Years of experience in one or more of the following fields: Building Technology, Building Automation Systems (BAS), HVAC controls strategies, Access Control, CCTV, Fire Alarm
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time within Western Canada and occasional travel to the US and Eastern Canada
- Experience in solution selling and consultative sales approach
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets, driving revenue growth and using CRM tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building abilities
- Technical certifications in building automation systems
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
